Bunn Intercultural Center (1982)
The tour continues northwest to the Bunn Intercultural Center (ICC). At its construction, the ICC featured the largest solar powered in the nation, a key element of the federal funding sought to build the $30 million, 215,000 square foot project, which houses classrooms, faculty offices, an auditorium, and the McGhee Library.

Its interior "galleria" (above) provides the entrance to the School of Foreign Service (SFS). Whether owing to the SFS' prominence in anti-Communist Cold War diplomacy, or just the color of the bricks which surround the entry way, the area outside the building is known as "Red Square".
