Change In Season Ticket Policy AnnouncedWant to see the Georgetown-Dartmouth home opener this November? Some very good seats may be available. The ticket office has announced that for the first time, a season ticket will purchase seats for only 12 of the home games scheduled at Capital One Arena in 2021-22; namely, 10 Big East games and two non-conference games versus Syracuse on December 11 and TCU on December 18."Season ticket holders may also opt in for complimentary tickets to any of the other six non-conference home games," reads the notice at GUHoyas.com. "For each of these six games, you will be able to request the number of season ticket(s) you have, plus up to four additional tickets for any guests you may want to bring." The home games in question are November 13 (Dartmouth), November 16 (American), November 20 (Siena), November 30 (Longwood), December 8 (UMBC) and December 15 (Howard). "While we hope that all season ticket holders attend every Hoyas home game, we also ask that you only opt in for tickets for these six games that you are going to use," it continues. "Having a higher utilization rate on distributed tickets means that we can maximize seating close to the court and improve the home-court advantage for the Hoyas as much as possible. You will be able to request your same season seat locations for these games, if you would like. Any requested tickets for these six games will be complimentary and not be able to be resold." If season ticket holders do not request tickets for these games, many more walk-up tickets may be available in the 100-level lower bowl as a result. Additional information on 2021-22 season tickets may be found at https://wearegeorgetown.com/tickets/mbbupdate/. Prices are unchanged from the 2019-20 season and range as low as $149 per seat in the upper level to as much as $2,325 for a floor seat, with an additional athletics contribution ais required for most seats. 2021-22 Non-Conference Schedule AnnouncedThe basketball office has announced the 2021-22 non-conference schedule, with a pair of opponents making their first visits on a Georgetown schedule in 47 years. The Hoyas will open the season November 13 against Dartmouth, who finished 12-17 in 2019-20 (The Ivy League did not play in 2020-21).
